Personal Bio
Dr. Jensen and his wife, Mary, have been married since 2001 and together they have four kids: Clara, Vivian, Dallin, and Avery. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, snowboarding, and mountain biking.
Patient Impact
“A 10-year-old boy who was extremely scared of the dentist would not come into the office. It took 30 minutes for my office manager to convince him to just come in and let me look at his teeth. I told him that I would only look at his teeth, and if anything hurt, he could raise his hand and I would stop. The exam showed severe dental decay and poor oral hygiene. We planned to bring him back for a mild sedation to help relieve his anxiety. We were able to finish half the work on the first visit and he was amazed with how easy it was. I slowly built his trust by keeping him pain free. I also explained to him what I was doing at each step allowing him to be an active participant in his own care. With each visit, his confidence seemed to grow. Now he knows that coming to the dentist can be a fun, pain-free experience. He now takes very good care of his teeth and is cured of a dental fear that may have followed him throughout his life.”
Personal Favorites
Dr. Jensen’s favorite books are science fiction books. His favorite TV shows are “The Office,” “Burn Notice,” the ESPN network, and The History Channel (although he mostly watches “Dora the Explorer” with his kids.)
